Tank Size: 5-10 gallons; Tank Type: Freshwater aquarium; Substrate: gravel or sand; Decor: plants, rocks, and driftwood.

Water Quality:

To keep your guppies healthy, it is imperative that the water in their tank is clean, clear, and well-oxygenated.

Water Temperature: 72-82°F; PH: 6.8-8.5; Water Hardness: From soft to moderate; Water Changes: Should be done weekly, changing 10-20% of the water.

Feeding:

Guppies are omnivores, meaning that they will eat both animal and plant materials. To maintain a healthy diet for your guppy, you should offer a well-balanced diet including different types of food sources.- Flake food: A good quality flake food can be a staple part of a guppy’s diet.

  • Live and frozen foods: Add live and frozen foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia to their diet.
  • Vegetable matter: Guppies will also accept vegetable matter, spirulina or algae wafers.
